We advise that University of York Library items should not be taken out of the UK. All items borrowed from the Library can be requested by other users and you may receive notice to send them back to us at any time.

Permission to take items overseas can be sought by emailing lib-enquiry@york.ac.ukIf you do choose to take items outside the UK we recommend that you must be prepared to send them back if recalled. If you are unable to return any requested item on time you will incur fines and you will be inconveniencing another Library user.
