If you have received an email advising you that you have an item awaiting collection, you can collect the item from the Key Texts collection. This is adjacent to the Help Desk on the ground floor of the JB Morrell Library.

Please note that you will need your University Card, or valid Library Card, to collect your item. The items are shelved opposite the self-issue machines.

To locate your particular item you need to find the code that’s printed on hold slips that consists of:

  • the first three letters of your second name (or first two letters if your second name is two letters long).

  • and the last three digits of your card number. This is printed on the reverse of your University card.

Eg for John Smith with a card number of 1234567, the code would be SMI-567.
